Brian Dwan is a founder and principal of Triple R Group. Prior to that, Brian was a key partner for a number of major retail corporations here in the US. He has also been involved in the development of locations for these retailers in Canada, Europe, South America, Mexico and Hong Kong. With over 25 years of experience in the retail community he has been responsible for over 500 transactions. Most recently he has held the position of Vice President of Real Estate and Construction at Liz Claiborne. He oversaw the strategic planning for all commercial and retail real estate at Kate Spade, Jack Spade, Juicy Couture, Lucky Brand, Lucky Kid, prAna, Kensie, Sigrid Olsen, Ellen Tracy, Mexx, Dana Buchman, Liz Claiborne and Laundry by Shelli Segal.
During his tenure at Liz he was responsible for site selection and handled a phenomenal growth spurt of both commercial and retail locations over two consecutive years. Before joining Liz Claiborne Brian was Vice President of Real Estate for Lucky Brand and previously was Vice President of Real Estate for Guess? Inc.
His responsibilities included the rollout of Guess, Guess Accessories and Guess Kids for both full price and outlet. He was responsible for the European expansion. Prior to joining Guess, Brian was Vice President of Real Estate, Store Design and Construction at Relax The Back. His responsibilities included both Corporate and Franchisee expansion in the US. Brian was Director of Real Estate, Store Design and Construction for Swatch where he secured Real Estate for expansion in both North and South America. Brian was Director of Store Design, Construction and Interim Director of Real Estate for The Body Shop. In the eight years that he worked for The Body Shop, Brian helped the company grow from 31 stores to over 300 stores. Brian started his career in retail with Laura Ashley. There he held the position of Project Manager overseeing the growth of Laura Ashley, Laura Ashley Home and Laura Ashley Mother and Child concepts.
